The artist is surrounded by 17 computers in three directions. The distorted and splited images were transformed by the live movement of the artist captured by the computer cameras. Utilizing TouchDesigner to create an immersive atmosphere, the images illustrate the current situation of fragmented information gathering and the fact of technology monitoring human beings.

 

By mapping the information-gathering systems of technology to biological concepts such as human neurons, and the structure of cells, this project tells the artist's concern about the future of technology ruling mankind. This project expresses concern about anthropocentrism and posthumanism. The practice addresses two questions:

What is humans' position in the future under the gaze of technology?

Who is the real self, the virtual one generated by technology, or the reality?
